Brickbat: Knock Before You Enter

Chicago police had already knocked down the door of Shanae Cross's house before they realized they were supposed to be raiding the house next door. Cross says when they sent someone to repair her door that person initially went to the wrong house, too. She says the door they gave her to replace her door was used and sub-par.

Makes me wonder how those guys find their way home every night.
who says they do?
Why do you think they work the night shift? So they can find their way home after the sun comes up.
I just started 7 weeks ago and I've gotten 2 check for a total of $2,000...this is the best decision I made in a long time! "Thank you for giving me this extraordinary opportunity to make extra money from home.

They did. They have dysfunctional families.
Good enough for government work.
More collateral damage from the War on Drugs.
Sessions made them do it??
She says the door they gave her to replace her door was used and sub-par.
They're not in the business of distributing hard-to-knockdown doors.
"She says the door they gave her to replace her door was used and sub-par."
I, too, think the Doors were overrated.
Ain't that the fucking truth.
I'd change the lock. The cops probably kept a copy of the key, just in case.
And why would they use a key when they are wearing boots?
I'm honestly quite shocked that they did anything about the door. What's the family going to do? Spend ten times what the door is worth on a lawyer? Cops could have easily said "Fuck you, sue us, it's your fault for living at the wrong address" and nothing else would have happened.
"Fuck you, sue us, it's your fault for living at the wrong address"
Isn't this a quote from the relevant SCOTUS opinion? Sounds like Scalia.
Wouldn't be surprised. I hope he's someplace very warm.
Door frames matter.
They knock down your door, you ask them to replace it. They send you a shitty one, you send them to the morgue. That's the Chicago way.
I don't approve of your methods.
You're not from Chicago
This is the perfect illustration of government in action! It's got everything! Indiscriminate violence, utter incompetence, and terrible public service to boot!
