Brickbat: There's a New Marshal in Town

The student union at King's College, a public university in England, pays "safe space marshals" to police campus speakers to make sure they don't make anyone feel uncomfortable. They make £12 an hour and get free tea and coffee and yoga and spin classes. Members of the school's Israel Society note that marshals were present during one of their events last year but failed to prevent demonstrators from disrupting it by throwing chairs and and breaking windows, which one assumes would make members of the Israel Society feel uncomfortable.

I take some comfort, as I sit here awake and at work at 1 AM, that Charles Oliver is also here with me. Posting articles.
There is no possible way that it is 1 AM in Arizona right now. You cretinous liar.
*Pacific* time is for *Pacific* states only. It's like right there in the name. Are you on the beach right now? Huh? Didn't think so.
I moved to Seattle earlier this year for work. I've often discussed my hatred of this place.
That being said, I am not on a beach. You are right about that.
Also, what do you do? You're always really late too. I imagine you either work a late shift, or are an insomniac.
Could be an early riser. It is off to work time in the EST.
Aye-aye tamer.

"Your policing of the campus speakers is making me uncomfortable."
You should feel uncomfortable. They are challenging you privilege. Now prostrate yourself and beg for forgiveness.
All Uncomfortable People Are Equal
But Some Uncomfortable People Are...
More uncomfortable than others? Napoleon?
It would appear your tactic won't work. The safe space policy is applied selectively.
Does the immediate action involve at all the fetal position?
It is the modern duck and cover.
stop, drop & roll?
According to the article, it involves leaving for tea -- -- --
and a tall glass of PEG.
There are lists of protected classes; I do not believe Jewish people, given all their "privilege," are very high on that list. And of course anything supporting Israel gets no consideration. I imagine these thought police have an algorithm to reference for deciding who gets to throw chairs and break windows, and who doesn't, as well as who can complain about it.
A formula or list would throw the whole scam process into disarray. This is more feelz territory than objective competence territory.
