I went and found the policies webpage they mentioned. Was not able to find the words "hate speech" in either the section on demonstrations or student conduct.

Oh... that's one of those "self-evident" truths... you know, like "all men are crated equal".

You are welcome to have opinions like "The minimum wage should be $16.00 instead of $15.00". And they have a responsibility to have open dialog and conversation about your controversial opinions. So if you think that the Sanders plan for nationalizing healthcare doesn't go far enough, please come to the public square.

On the other hand...

You do not have a right to Hate Speech ideas, like "I think we should enforce our immigration laws as they exist and increase the number of work visas allowed." This is not speech, but violence and will not be tolerated.

Likewise, you do not have the right to hate speech like "we should end the program of extrajudicial killings of Americans via executive order..." Oh, wait... I don't like the president we have now... so that's probably OK. In fact, now that Trump is president it is probably hate speech to support the war on terror. A wannabe-tyrant says "what"? Contrary to your incorrect opinion, there is no such thing as "hate-speech" or "free-speech". There is only the freedom of speech, and you either have it, or you don't.

Define "hateful". One of the logical problems with your position (constitutional issue aside) is that "hate" is subjective.

This vice chancellor is coming from the ultimate pit of white privilege. Just call her a racist. Once that happens there is no debate, she will be shunned, anything she says afterwards will be discounted (because she is a racist), and she can go back to her racist white cracker family.
