The Kenyan government has banned plastic bags. Those caught making, selling or importing plastic bags face a fine of up to $38,000 or four years in prison.

    "... If the guy arresting you already happened to be pissed off at you for some reason."

    "And now, you will give us all your grocery bags, or we will fine you for... 38,000 DOLLARS!"

    {puts pinky to side of mouth}

    Well, this explains our last eight years. It's just the Kenyan mindset, I guess.

    So garbage gets, what? Wrapped up in newspapers?

    And if someone buys a goldfish at the store, the fish comes home in an empty coffee can.

    Speaking of pets: that used car litter? Just dump it in a burlap sack with lots of small holes. The garbage man will love that.

    Not to mention getting meat at the supermarket. It's great when you open your reusable shopping bag or your backpack and find it's wet from raw chicken juice or beef blood. And the Kenyan sun will have your reusable bags smelling wonderful soon after that.

    Typical of politicians: they can't think their way out of a wet paper bag.

    Geez, and I thought California was bad. It must be a prorgressive paradise over there.

    Do they not have dogs and babies in Kenya? All my used plastic bags get to enjoy their retirement as poop receptacles.
