It's great?
Oh boy.
I bet that's some seriously fair and intellectually curious coverage.
It could have been worse ... in fact, it's not bad.
It's damn near adequate!
Hello.
Apparently the driver could get the death penalty?
The driver of CNN or FreedomFest?
He met behind closed doors with congressional investigators.
WHO ALL TURNED OUT TO ACTUALLY BE RUSSIAN OFFICIALS!
Let's replace all the doors in the White House with bead curtains, in the name of transparency.
Well, I think once you go bead curtains you really have to throw in lava lamps, shag carpeting and bean bags.
And mini-skirts, of course.
And weed. OOPS!
They still aren't allowed to smoke it, it's just there to complete the decor. Like hand towels or those lil bathroom soaps you aren't supposed to use.

They found the one guy who un-ironically claimed, "I'm happy we America Great Again"?
*we made
Too late. You fucked it up.
"They found the one guy who un-ironically claimed, "I'm happy we America Great Again"?"
So, the Chinese guy, eh?
...he has not colluded with Russian officials in their alleged attempt to manipulate the presidential election.
He did it to make money.
The only crime worse.
Charlie Gard's parents have decided to end their fight in England to try to get permission from the government to bring their dying son overseas to America for experimental treatment.
Another satisfied NHS customer.
So this Dark Tower movie looks good.
Was there a new preview? It didn't look good to me from the first one, though something with Idris Elba sparring with Matthew McConaughey can only be so bad. But I wasn't hoping for an action movie, which was the impression the first trailer gave me

That leaves only Ivanka and Baron -- as god as my witness we will snuff out this traitor!
It's Baron, isn't it.
Have to admit, it would be one hell of a premise for The Omen, Part IX.
"I see Russian people."
Gard's hospital and U.K. courts had blocked the parents from doing so and wanted to allow for the child to die.
"We shall fight the Gards on the beaches..."
The Gard's dared to question the judgement of technocrats with regard to their iwn flesh and blood. How dare they think that they are ultimately the decision makers?
The technocrats are really concerned that the operation will be successful and then they'll be on the hook to support the child for the rest of his life. It's all about the $. Or pounds in this case.
All the White House drama is drowning out the Democratic Party attempting to establish some new populist branding for the 2018 midterms
Isn't new slogans status quo round election time?
He claims he had no idea there were people in the truck until he heard them banging on the sides after stopping in Texas.
It was destiny that he hadn't looked at his manifest.
"As God is my witness, I thought it was a load of Soylent Green!"
Well, he also said that he picked up the trailer in Iowa and was driving it to Brownsville. Taking those illegals back where they came from! #MAGA
On the other hand, maybe he's just lying.
Did he check with the guys with the death skull on the tip of their boots?
All the White House drama is drowning out the Democratic Party attempting to establish some new populist branding for the 2018 midterms.
People are going to be sick of populism come the midterms.
But they've got the best populism ever, so great it will make your head spin.
Make Populism Great For The First Time.
I honestly think the Democrats are going to have a terrible time trying to "rebrand". They've encouraged the victim mentality and identity politics for so long now, any attempt to try to shift to a positive message will be seen as betrayal.
They're absolutely bankrupt of ideas or who they are. Thousands, if not millions of dollars in consulting fees, and the best they can come up with is to rip off Papa John's slogan?

The latest development in the Mohamed Noor/Justine Damond story, following a report that a loud noise preceded Noor's shooting of Damond: fake street signs have cropped up around the Twin Cities
I hope more are going up as the cops rip them down.

Reverse Travel Ban? UK is always 10 steps ahead of us.
John McAfee attacked.
Wife tweets, "My husband is still breathing bitches!"
http://www.zdnet.com/article/j.....er-attack/
Jeesus Fucking Christ. There needs to be a movie.
McAfee is exactly how the mainstream world view libertarians.
Him and Dale Gribbel.
Badass?
Those two seem made for each other.
Trump Just Resurrected the Ugly Practice Known as Civil Forfeiture for No Reason
Resurrection powers are within the purview of the God Emprah of Mankind.
I was sitting a table in a restaurant enjoying artisinal fruit when out of nowhere Trump emerged and began to piss on my table and then in my mouth! I swear it's all true!
Hey'd ya ever notice that when Dear Leader does something really truly awful that directly contradicts a fundamental libertarian tenet the commentariat excuses this action with a flippant aside? Why do you guys do that?
Trump sucks my ass because he wants to take people's propertay before a defendant gets their day in court. Fuck him and Jeff Sessions right in the eye.
Trump sucks my ass because he wants to take people's propertay before a defendant gets their day in court.
Unlike socialists. Oops, I mean, just fucking like socialists.
Seems you and Tony share a stunning lack of self-awareness.
Fuck him and Jeff Sessions right in the eye.
No one here wants to hear your sick masturbation fantasies, commie-kid.
@Stalin The point of my snark was directed at this author's perception (or carefully chosen narrative) that asset forfeiture wasn't in practice until the Trumpocalypse raised it from the dead.
No use explaining anything to this twit; if he could read it lie about it anyhow,.
Wait. It died and had to be resurrected? How did I not hear about this?
"Resurrected" implied it was dead in the first place, which is patently ludicrous if you've been reading Reason at any point in the past year.
That's not to say this is meaningless, it is not good that some of the last two years' successes in limiting it are being reversed.
Trump's presidency, which has divided even like-minded communities, including attendees here.
I truly miss all the concensus we had before the Trump presidency.
It's the purity I miss most; y'all are tainted.
*pulls out his scented kerchief*
Me too.
And he said that with his squeaky, high-pitched and oh-so-manly voice that makes you wonder what that Amazon warrior that is his wife ever saw in him. Unless he was condemned to die by Shnoo-shnoo...
Patton had a high pitched voice too. Didn't stop him from liberating the southern half of France.
Have you ever heard Mike Tyson speak?
Even PeeWee Herman got the girl.
The president of Poland has vetoed an attempt by lawmakers to give themselves more control over who would be named judges in the country's top courts.
They were so close to finally getting the right ruling in the case of Pressure Equalization v. Submarine Screen Door.
New and improved, with extra bubbles for closer and better cleaning.
It's called "A Better Deal" and House and Senate Democratic leaders are rolling it out Monday afternoon in Berryville, Virginia.
Wimps. It should be "A Big Fucking Deal", rolled out in Peoria, Illinois.
Does it contain a plank calling for all of the zealots on both sides along with all significant members of both major parties to be put on a rocket and blasted into deep space? If not, then no sale.........
examines what libertarians are saying about government in the "Trump era."
Eh, he's a wall-building, Drug War-promoting, and immigrant-bashing militarist who will probably get us into a nuclear war with North Korea, but he's better than any of the immigrant welcoming, drug legalizing pro-choicers in the Democratic Party so we'll go with him in 2020. Gotta have principles-- which were ripped right out of my Atlas Shrugged book pages 1-2,567.
Wow, 2,567 pages, eh. I must have read the abridged version. In the expanded version, how does the "John Galt Monocle Factory and Orphanage" fare?
CNN covers FreedomFest and examines what libertarians are saying about government in the "Trump era."
This makes me wonder if FreedomFest even exists.
"Democratic leaders believe they lost to President Donald Trump partly because voters don't know what the party stands for. "
Yeah, because no one who voted against you was capable of reading the party platform?
Even the first three items all consists of more government taking care of you whether you want it to or not.
"new and improved" "but wait! there's more!" "trust us, we know better than you" "not what we do, what we say"
Maybe, just maybe, you misinterpreted that 40% part. As a popularity rating it's not that bad. As a polling result in a two party system it's ... less than desirable.
Jared's slim figure and good tailoring are wasted on his heterosexuality.
Please: like you could get a Jared.
To quote Instapundit...forget recusal, I'd fire Sessions over asset forfeiture.
