What will history make of his health care overhaul? The assassination of Osama bin Laden? His deals with Iran and Cuba? Race relations?

Trump is going to undo all of them. That's right. I said all of them.

I thought this was from the movie Going in Style, but apparently not; this is the quote from that movie:

Forget it. Al and Willie would both die if I gave that money back. Besides, Pete, let me tell you something. For the past couple of years, me, Al and Willie all sat on that park bench and looked at each other. Maybe a politician would come around and talk to us at election time, but that was about it. That was our life. Here I've got my own cell, with a toilet and a sink. Food's okay, and I'm feeling good. As a matter of fact, they treat me like a king around here. Everyone comes around to talk, and they all want to do me favors. Pretty soon they'll all wind up asking me where I hid the money. They don't know it, but they're all older than me.

Apparently the movie is being remade, although the plot is being changed to have the three elderly bank robbers rob it for taking their money. (In the original, it was because Social Security didn't pay enough and the three men needed something to do.) Because heaven knows we can't have a big bank portrayed neutrally these days.

Nash ran the school district's Twitter account. On Jan. 5, a student tweeted to the account, asking that schools be closed "tammarow."

Nash responded from the district's account, "But then how would you learn how to spell 'tomorrow?'"

      1. PapayaSF   8 years ago

So now it's wrong to correct a student's spelling? WTF....

While I put some respeck on her name for her epic burn, why the fuck is a public school district spending 44,000 taxpayer dollars a year to "coordinate" whatever the fuck a "web experience" is, as well as "to run the district's social media accounts."

I have really been remiss in keeping up to date with the latest efforts of rappers to market themselves

its like someone looked at rappers like Feddy Wap and Wakka Flokka Flame and Lil Yachty... and thought, these people are being too-highbrow.

Apropos of mostly nothing- I wish just one of the morons who infest the airwaves hyperventilating about the horrible outcome of the recent election would offer some sort of remotely coherent definition of "hacked".

    1. Derpetologist   8 years ago

I've noticed they've mostly moved on to calling it "meddling" or "interfering".

From the visual aids, hacking involves random green text on a CRT monitor. Usually footage from the Matrix or video games is shown. Variants of the phrase "Russia hacked the election" are repeated, as if the alleged hacking somehow altered the votes electronically.

      1. Sevo   8 years ago

"I've noticed they've mostly moved on to calling it "meddling" or "interfering"."

      1. kbolino   8 years ago

The DNC is not the fucking election

Not at the national level. But thanks to Maryland's new constitutional amendment, the state Democratic Party gets to choose candidates without holding any vote. Boss Tweed looks longingly from his grave.

    More CIA arm-waving:

"Outgoing CIA Director John Brennan ripped into Donald Trump on Sunday for "talking and tweeting" about possibly easing sanctions against Russia, saying the president-elect lacks a full understanding of the threat Moscow poses to the United States."
    http://www.sfgate.com/news/pol.....858612.php

Apparently Brennan is under the impression that the CIA sets policy rather than collects and delivers intel.

  17. The Late P Brooks   8 years ago

    Here's another one I like:

"That big meanie Donald Trump picked a fight with John Lewis!"

I'm pretty sure Lewis started barking about Trump's lack of "legitimacy" before Trump tweeted anything about him.

I personally think a late night "Whatever, loser" wold have been a more than sufficient response, but let's try to keep the timeline straight.

Also- if some random back bench Republican had called Obama the Magnificent "illegitimate" '09 he would have been accused of sedition and high treason.
