The Praying Dead

Officials in Sycamore, Ohio, fined Jasen Dixon $500 for the nativity scene in his front yard and threatened him with more fines if he didn't take it down. They said it violated zoning rules against accessory structures. But Dixon says he believes it was because it depicts Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and the Wise Men as zombies. After a public outcry, and after Dixon removed the top piece of the display, officials said it could stay.
