Does This Look Like 'Gub' or 'Gun'?

Officials say it wasn't a lockdown, but they did hold students in their classrooms at Lehman High School in Texas while they investigated an alleged gun threat. They determined that one student had just misheard another ask someone for some gum.

yeah but it was gum in the shape of a gub...no gun
If it looks like a lockdown, and smells like a lockdown, and walks like a lockdown, then exactly how the fuck isn't it a lockdown? Officials gonna' lie...

But if it isn't an official lockdown, they don't have to arrest the student who spoke the terroristic gum threat. Or the student who was asked for the gun gum and didn't report it.
Or praise the student who screwed up "See (or hear) something; say something."
We need common sense gum control legislation.
No one needs more than 5 sticks.
Hey, there are a lot of valid Reasons to carry high-capacity gum packs.
What if I'm going somewhere to chew gum and kick ass? How soon do you want me to run out of gum, really?
what about common sense gub legislation?
That's it, we obviously need a ban on gum of any kind in schools or other public places. If we just make gum illegal, then we'll avoid these kind of mix-ups.
