In a report on Japanese officials clamoring for war with China, China Central Television showed some of the fearsome weapons Japan has. This included a brief clip of a Gundam, a giant robot battle suit from the anime franchise of the same name.

Yeah but the Chinese have the geat leap forward and the cultural revelution Rocks in a glass house.

        Or Locks at grass houses.

        1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

          I saw that, straffinrun.

      2. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

The Chinese have the advantage in the question of how many Chinese they've managed to kill due to proximity and duration.

  2. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

To be fair, Japan does have giant robots, they just don't move quite that fast...

    1. Mr Lizard   10 years ago

      Never underestimate the robot threat

      1. Gordilocks   10 years ago

        Oh no, there goes Tokyo,
        Go go .....

Gamers is a friend to *all* children.

    1. d3x / dt3   10 years ago

^Gamera. Have to add MST3k-isms to autocorrect.

      1. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

        Or just don't do autocorrect.

      2. Derpetologist   10 years ago

I'll take Gamera over those creepy twin chicks Mothra hangs out with.

  4. thrakkorzog   10 years ago

Well, the Japanese do control a legion of Tentacle porn monsters. Every Japanese schoolgirl commands entire legions of rape monsters.

    1. Adans smith   10 years ago

      Go on

      1. thrakkorzog   10 years ago

Well as we're considering Japanese military capacity by what shows up in anime.

  5. Adans smith   10 years ago

BTW, the Japanese are reported to have the most powerful navy in the region, and China spends is thought to spend as much on internal security [ defending agaist their people ] as they do on the military. With the stock crash and the economy built on a bubble they may want a enemy to focus their people on.

    1. straffinrun   10 years ago

You mean China or the US?

      1. Adans smith   10 years ago

        Well,yes.

  6. Derpetologist   10 years ago

    Scary things from Japan checklist

    1. Kaiju- check

    2. porn- check

    3. game shows- check

    3. kindergarten- check

    1. Derpetologist   10 years ago

      oopsy, kindergarten should be 4.

For those who can't watch, they force kindergarteners to run shirtless outside in the winter.

      1. straffinrun   10 years ago

I don't think the schools per se are what is causing youth suicide. It's the fear of being ostracised that causes kids to do so. Also, suicide doesn't have the religious aspect to it that it does in the West. The kindergarden my daughter went to for 3 years was quite good. The elementary school is definitely creepy though.

        1. GILMORE, LVL20 Blowhard   10 years ago

""The kindergarden my daughter went to for 3 years was quite good""

          3 years?

does she have to pass a rigorous test to get out, or something?

I think i did 2 yrs kindergarten, but it was because of bad behavior and my lawyer fucked me.

  7. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

I agree with what Fist posted at 6:24.
I began reading a book named "The Rape of Nanking" once.
    I never finished it.

    1. straffinrun   10 years ago

That book is gut wrenching. I made the mistake of following it with "Mao: The Unknown Story". Monsters preying on the defenseless in both cases.

      1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

"Monsters preying on the defenseless in both cases."

Perhaps this is at the core of what disturbed me the most.

    2. Adans smith   10 years ago

Read the Rising Sun,good book, also Rise and Fall of the Thrid Riech.

    3. GILMORE, LVL20 Blowhard   10 years ago

Oh, man, you totally missed the happy ending!

You really need to read the sequel = Four Hours In My Lai

      Its a delightful romp

  8. Lord Humungus   10 years ago

Once there were two Chinese... now look how many there are.

  9. Rich   10 years ago

    Propaganda is Gundam style.

  10. cliftonm   10 years ago

I make up to $90 an hour working from my home. My story is that I quit working at Walmart to work online and with a little effort I easily bring in around $40h to $86h? Someone was good to me by sharing this link with me, so now i am hoping i could help someone else out there by sharing this link... Try it, you won't regret it!......

If history's any guide, Japan will wait until America invents a (crappy and expensive) Metal Gear, and come out with an awesome Gundam that's half the price, twice as efficient and four times as capable.

(I kid 'cause I like you, Japan)
