Bill Clinton on Donald Trump: He Supported Hillary, and The Clinton Foundation
Democrats may be excited about Trump's entry into the 2016 presidential race

Bill Clinton had some nice things to say about Donald Trump, the newest Republican presidential candidate, in an interview Wednesday night on The Daily Show. E! Online reports:
"He has been, believe it or not, uncommonly nice to Hillary and me," Clinton replied. "He thought Hillary was a good senator for New York after 9/11 and he has actually, he's one of the many Republicans who supported our foundation before they got the memo."
Republican lawmakers had last month asked the IRS to find out if the Clinton Foundation complied with the terms of its tax-exempt status and the group has said it planned to refile at least three years' worth of tax returns after errors were found in how they reported donations from governments, Reuters had reported.
Trump had invited Bill and Hillary to his wedding to third wife Melania in Palm Beach, Florida in 2005. Bill and Trump had also gone golfing together with fellow famous friends such as former New York City mayors Rudy Giuliani, also an ex-presidential candidate, and Michael Bloomberg, at a tournament at the Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, New York in 2008.
Between 2002 and 2006, Trump donated a total of $6,200 to Hillary's campaign for Senate re-election and in 2007 and 2008, he donated $4,600 to her first presidential campaign.
Politico reports that Trump gave a total of $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation, which has found its financial practices under scrutiny in the run up to the 2016 election, and $25,000 to the national Democrats' congressional efforts in 2006, when Democrats took over the House and Senate. Donald Trump could say he knows how to pick a winner. In the 2012 election cycle, the last time Trump flirted with a presidential run, the real estate mogul noted "everyone is Democratic" in New York, which doesn't quite explain the donations to national Democrats. Politico notes Trump has given exclusively to Republican campaigns since 2012.
Trump is polling at an average of 3.6 percent in a field with more than a dozen candidates. Bill Clinton isn't the only Democrat that welcomed Trump into the race. The Democratic National Committee said "Trump adds some much-needed seriousness that has previously been lacking from the GOP field, and we look forward to hearing more about his ideas for the nation." Careful what you wish for.

Democrats would love to see Trump get the GOP nomination.
So Donald Trump is a sucker who is easily parted from his money by con artists. Everyone knows that Bill.
No, Trump is a crony capitalist who was trying to buy influence from those he thought would win an election.
This. Tump didn't support anything. He was buying influence. Not that this matters. Trump isn't actually a politician.
Yeah. He was just keeping flow with the wind.
I really hope the DNC is just trolling with the "seriousness" shit - the thought that they might be serious is too depressing to contemplate
Trump will bully the rest of the GOP field - something Democrats can't and won't do.
Was it the hair? Biden has plugs. Maybe that's it. Donkeys love them some plastic surgery and hair restoration.
I read that and wondered if these people are delusional or habitual liars.
Or both.
"Trump adds some much-needed seriousness that has previously been lacking from the GOP field, and we look forward to hearing more about his ideas for the nation."
.
The spokesman went on to add that they are also looking forward to Trump's tips on understated architecture, avoiding the media, cranial slenderizing and flattering hairstyles.
Trump adds some much-needed seriousness that has previously been lacking from the GOP field
I think the opposite is true.
Indeed.
Why not Vermin Supreme?
Nice alt-text.
"Melaina? More like me on ya"
Sounds like ole Willy C is jealous that the Butt-Trumpet doesn't have to resort to rape or child molestation just to get a "date."

Donald Trump is a very talented businessman who would be a hilarious president. He has my support.
That's a good question, crab_apple. I keep trying Ars Technica, but then I have to take extended breaks because the derp is so thick. The halfway reasonable people who post from time to time are really trying hard, but can't succeed in drowning out the noise.
