It was bad enough that a man crashed his car into Aaron Shelton's yard. It was even worse when the Hamilton County, Tennessee, deputies pursuing that man tackled Shelton to the ground and beat him with their batons even as he and his wife tried to explain that, not only was Shelton the not the man they were looking for, he was a fellow deputy. After the deputies realized their mistake, Shelton says they tried to keep him quiet, telling him they were "brothers." But he says he was ostracized and punished professionally after he filed a complaint against the deputies. He's now suing the department and the county.

"Now that punk we were chasing? He should of been mistreated, big time."
This tells you everything that you need to know about the relationship that these fucktards have with the public that they "serve" and which pays their salaries.
The sheriff's precogs sent that email.
Did they predict he'd win or lose?
Also, do the precogs have any views on who'll win the Cricket World Cup?
The precogs fall asleep every time they think about cricket.
And so do we all!
They knew it.

Talk about your "libertarian moment". I just opened the complementary local rag in my hotel room to the editorial page and I see syndicated columnist Jacob Sullum".
WINNING!
...
I wonder how big that "syndicate" is?
According to recent research, 5.16 inches
That's a tiny syndicate lol.
It's 'The Outfit' now, nobody calls it syndicate anymore
I like the version with kris kristopherson better than the version with the woman.
Yeah, what the hell is with that? I didn't realize there was a different version until I went looking for this clip. Who don't like Kris??
"...and by 'the business' I do mean 'the industry.'"
Geez. Cops act like a gang of punks...like, you know, the Ducky Boys.
Yep,if a cop accuses his 'brothers' of wrong doing he can expect to have his life ruined,or worse. How is this not like the mafia?
With the mafia, you pretty much knew where you stood, and they stood by their word.
'you think I'm funny,like a clown?'
*shoots Adans smith before he can go off*
I'm no fool.
And UnCiv shot him in the face so his mother couldn't have an open-casket ceremony....
As far as Almanian! was concerned with Adans smith being made, it was like we were all being made. We would now have one of our own as a member.

That's what ultimately set Chris Dorner off.
WTF?
You don't know his story, his manifesto, the big manhunt in CA, the ridiculous pants-shitting and 2 empty-your-mags-on-wrong-targets incidents by cops?

Reason covered it too:

Ok,got it, thanks,I forgot.
"He's now suing the department and the county."
Both the department and the county get their funds through extortion.
Neither will go out of business for poor performance, investors pulling their money from the company, or folks refusing to do business with them. You have to do business with them, or else they will send those same folks in blue costumes to confiscate your stuff through violence.
Only the private production of security and defense could respect liberty, and the NAP.
"But we need government" Yeah, only when the want for slavery (from minarchist all the way on to prog. / soc.) suits their desires, then all of the sudden socialism and central planning are magically effective and efficient.
Get rid of immunity and have all cops bonded and carry malpractice insurance If it good enough for 'civilians ' it good enough for them .Add in D.A.'s also.
You're not dealing with the extortion part of how the department is funded. That violates the NAP. They will not give up their power and rid themselves of qualified immunity. Their new insurance would only be subsidized by the "taxpayers" / extortees.
Victim prosecution has the nice side effect of eliminating victimless crimes.
"The question's going to be, why pound on a guy when you've got him in full control?" Shelton's attorney, Robin Flores, said. "It makes absolutely no sense."
Silly Robin, the kicks were for kicks.
