Brickbat: Bad Hair Day
Monica Equivel said her son Kobi has had the same haircut for five months, but recently an assistant principal at Coronado Middle School in Texas told the boy the line shaved on the side of his head was a distraction. That principal then colored in the line with a marker. When the mother complained, she says administrators told her the haircut could be considered gang-related. School officials are refusing to comment on the matter except to say the dress code forbids designs shaved into the hair.

.
Gang-related distractions are the worst distractions of all.
.
Except maybe for whatever's going on with this site today.
I find your comments offensive and am reporting you for abuse.
Also, Botard.
I reserve the right to delete you gangsta comments monkey.
Hey!
Hey!
Hey hey hey!
We're the Monkees!
*golf clap*
What happened to the comments section?! It's oversized!
Hang on a second - This is the MOBILE EDITION! Why am I getting the mobile edition on my desktop!?
This mobile edition is awesome! I love the way that the fonts are big like the crayons they let me use.
Plus with all the crap cluttering the screen, I get to pretend I'm on a submarine looking through a periscope at the article.
None of the commentariat links are working, or even displaying completely enough to be copy-pasted! I hate this bug!
Oh, hey, there's a 'View Full size' link that gets me the normal look back... I wonder how long it will last before I need to click it again.
And after it's clicked, the link that replaces it is "View Mobile". I like being right.
I don't see any "View Full Size" link. Clicking on the "Menu" and then trying to close it brought the page to a screeching halt and I had to reload.
It was all the way at the top of the page (above the article) on the upper right, not in the 'menu'
Same question I was having. I just hope it won't be an even worse memory hog. Most tablet-optimized sites are terrible.
I think "gang related" is the school administrative equivalent of "stop resisting!"
Jesus Christ these people have nothing but time on their hands...
+1 Styx
Hey - at least we have an edit feature finally!
Oh, wait...
No, what we have is unacceptably fucked up.
I remember some outrageous hair styles in high school(1980s), absolute atrocities. On the teachers. Holy comb-over, Batman.
Nothing more attractive on a teacher than a good, old-fashioned beehive, amirite, gents?
Actually, big tits are more attractive. My one teacher with a B52 had tits so big that I never noticed that she had a head until after I graduated. She was a bitch but all the boys loved her class.
No, I don't, in fact, have anything better to do this morning.
You could be an assistant principal at Coronado Middle School in Texas. They'll provide a marker for you at taxpayer expense.
I've made $64,000 so far this year working online and I'm a full time student. I'm using an online business opportunity I heard about and I've made such great money. It's really user friendly and I'm just so happy that I found out about it. Heres what I've been doing,

Don't they know douchebag haircuts are in - for like the last 10 years?
I thought that the comments formatting was already fucked up enough. What is this shit, it's hurting my eyes.
Ugh, the preview is all misaligned and there's no paragraph formatting ... did Reason let their 5 year olds play in the CSS?
Also, what's up with this Editors note thing? Is this a requirement of Obamanet 1.0?
While he was scribbling with the marker, why didn't he fill in the design of the side burns? If the kid was starting the grow a beard, the administrator should also have taken the time to give him a good thick one.
Oh come now, everyone knows the only appropriate haircut is a perfect copy of whatever the Dear Leader is sporting.
