Stanton Peele: Let People Choose Their Own Drug Policies

In 2014, Colorado legalized marijuana and allowed it to be commercially sold. Stanton Peele says that's a model we should follow with all other drugs. People will need to let their consciences—and values and resilience—be their guides. History, he says, demonstrates that our best drug policy is to encourage these beacons, not to undercut them through myths about our inadequacy in the face of drugs.
