Brickbat: House Calls

Dr. Carroll Landrum says the people of poverty-stricken Edwards, Mississippi, need him. But the state medical licensing board is trying to revoke his license. They say he's incompetent. However, Landrum notes they have provided no examples of his incompetence. He says they are trying to take his license away just because he has no office and practices out of his car, going to meet patients at their homes or other places convenient for them.

He's probably grandfathered out of paying some licensing board fees.
AGEIST!
OT: I'm still waiting for this so-called blizzard. I didn't even have to bother brushing snow off my car, the dusting we got was that laughable. Every time I check the forecast, the accumulation estimate gets revised downward, and the radar says it passed us by.
On topic: That vehicle doesn't look like it has enough room for an exam table. Just saying.
Well it's snowing sideways here. Snow is already drifting on the tires of the cars. On the bright side, at least I won't have to rake the roof.
Well, what next - a restaurant in the back of a TRUCK???!! Madness, I say! MADNESS!
Where would you fit the seating?
I'm not a doctor, but from my experience, a full GYN exam is possible in the rear seat of most mid to full-size cars.
I don't get it.
Oh, OH! /Edith Bunker.
going to meet patients at their homes or other places convenient for them.
THE. HORROR.
"if you're in a shopping center and somebody is having a heart attack, you stop and help."
Damn it, Landrum, out of a *shopping cart*, too?!
Shopping Cart MD?
Shopping Cart Doc?
Band name or TV sitcom?
Having watched my wife deal with the MS licensing board in residency, I'd have to say they're worse than average.....
We had the Lincoln Lawyer. He could be the Dodge Doctor.
