Gotta admire the ingenuity there, proving he's not a corrupt tyrant by acting like a corrupt tyrant, genius!

And Turkey wants in the EU.

Mind you, European nations would bend over backwards to smother them with all their PC nonsense.

Like the idea that you're some sort of horrid racist xenophobe if you oppose Turkish membership in the EU.

BTW, did you see that the last of the Mighty Magyars of the 50s died over the weekend?

Terrifying horse borne raiders of the 850s lived that long?!

    Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan

And here he thought he had a pretty unpunnable name.

  6. Rich   11 years ago

"Everyone must respect the office of president whoever he is."

So, if the kid had said "Although I greatly respect the office of president, Erdogan is the chief of theft, bribery and corruption" he wouldn't have been arrested?

    1. Scarecrow Repair   11 years ago

More to the point, Erdogan's corruption and especially his pushing this bullshit arrest itself disgrace the office of the president.

Would he regrace the office of the president if he were to resign or to send himself to prison for four years?
