Human Rights Watch has asked that Indonesia stop forcing female applicants to undergo a virginity test to join the police force. The group says the tests are both discriminatory and useless.

Sounds like way to enable an actual rape culture in the police department. If "losing" your virginity is a ticket to getting fired, some female officers will avoid filing rape complaints against fellow officers.
