Dem Wins Gov. Race in R.I.; Tough Climate for Dems Even in Northeast
Democrat Gina Raimondo has won the governor race in Rhode Island.
Raimondo, the general treasurer, and Republican Allan Fung, the mayor of Cranston, had been locked in a heated race, with Moderate Party candidate Robert Healey running a distant third.
