Watch: ISIS Claims to Have Captured U.S. Airdropped Weapons

Textbook SNAFU.

In a new video, ISIS shows American-made weapons it says were intended for the Kurds but actually were air dropped into territory they control.

At least one bundle of U.S. weapons airdropped in Syria appears to have fallen into the hands of ISIS, a dangerous misfire in the American mission to speed aid to Kurdish forces making their stand in Kobani.

There's some nefarious bullshit going on here. Why would anybody airdrop some 60 year-old, un-fused and unfilled grenade casings? The only thing in the entire video that could have been legit was the last case of grenades, but millions of those have been given away or sold, so who knows....

F1 Russian Grenades, RPG-7 Rockets, and M26 Pakistani Grenades - I guess with some cool editing that humanitarian aid drop can be confused with a US weapons cache, if you're unfamiliar with military equipment. I wonder what's in the boxes they didn't show, and what the reason is for that? Overall, excellent propaganda video, although I wish reason used as much critical thinking to challenge the claims of the slave owning, genocidal, rapists that Daesh is composed of, as they do against peaceful, if ill-informed, US politicians.

Ignoring the agit-prop vid, I have severe doubts that air drops to one group of people in a town somehow ends up exactly where the dropper hopes.

Yeah, color me unconvinced. One minute they are looking at a complete bundle, then *poof* we're looking at crates curiously lined up along some fenceline.

Plus, I've seen how US munitions crates are marked (I've stenciled them) and they ain't it...as well as the previous comments about non-US and/or obsolete items. But perhaps we were gifting the kurds or whoever w/ 3rd party crap...
