Is An American Citizen Running ISIL's Social Media Campaign?
An American citizen on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist list is reportedly suspected of working for the Islamic State on its social media and propaganda efforts.
Ahmad Abousamra, a 32-year-old Syrian-American who was born in France and grew up in Boston, may be using his tech and computer skills to help the extremist group with its social media campaign, ABC News reported.
CNN reported that Abousamra graduated from Northeastern University.
Fluent in English and Arabic, he has a "high-pitched voice that would distinguish him from others." according to an FBI podcast.
