Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, is calling for a boycott of Burger King.

"Burger King's decision to abandon the United States means consumers should turn to Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers or White Castle sliders. Burger King has always said 'Have it Your Way'; well my way is to support two Ohio companies that haven't abandoned their country or customers," Brown said in a statement. "To help business grow in America, taxpayers have funded public infrastructure, workforce training, and incentives to encourage R&D and capital investment. Runaway corporations benefited from those policies but want U.S. companies to pay their share of the tab."

OK, now we can selectively raise taxes on (illegal!) immigrants, because American tax payers paid for their education, healthcare, student loans, etc. They owes us big time, right?

You could always screw Burger King by not wasting money on infrastructure (which includes a lot inane things) and workforce training. But if you did that, then you hate children and the community.

You can only laugh at the way libs mangle logic in a way that you owe your success to the government. If you lost 50 pounds by jogging at a public park, you're indebted to the government or the tax payers that fund that park, so you HAVE to support the Soda Tax or Michelle's anti obesity campaign.

IF a libertarian businessman ever took a tax subsidy or some government grant, the Huffpost will say he's a hypocrite! Imagine that, that guy took advantage of something available to everyone.

What's that? Burger King is calling for a boycott of Democratic Senators? Well, I guess that makes sense.

I'm shocked that Burger King still exists, even without a boycott, between the prices and shocking low quality of the food. Anyway, L.A. stopped spending any money on infrastructure a couple of decades ago, now they burn it all bribing unions. They keep asking for special "temporary" taxes to pay for upkeep of roads and sidewalks. How come Canada has such nice roads with half the corp taxes as us?

I find their burgers to be better than those of McDonalds, not to mention that they assemble them to order, unlike McDonalds, where you have to wait for a new batch if you want a burger that differs from what they've already got wrapped.

It's been a while since I've visited one, since I prefer Wendy's or Chick-fil-a as far as fast food goes, but perhaps I'll make a special visit now in solidarity.
