Paul Ryan: Big Government Has U.S. at 'Tipping Point'
It is no longer a question of how much government Americans want. The only question is how much government Americans can afford.
It is no longer a question of how much government Americans want. The only question is how much government Americans can afford.
And the former Republican vice presidential candidate, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said the answer is becoming clear.
"I talk about this in the book," Ryan told Watchdog Radio Monday. "About very progressive policies. About the outcomes they produce, and how they bankrupt governments."

Uh, the "tipping point" was in the early 80's. That's when we last could have undone FDR/LBJ's expansions with minimal pain. But we cracked out the credit cards instead. We've seen an ever increasing reach by the Feds since, to the point we are at now. What is going on around us now is the beginning of the end game, not some tipping point. It's almost propagandistic to assert we've just come up to some pivot point. We're in for a world of hurt as nearly 100 years of economic misallocations rebound nearly all at once.
