Shooter at Fort Lee Army Base—All Clear Given

Update, 12:10 p.m.: AP now has more details about this morning's shooting at the Fort Lee Army base in central Virginia. "A female soldier with a gun…turned the weapon on herself, causing an injury, but didn't wound any others," AP reports. "The Army statement did not identify the shooter and said officials would not immediately release any further information."

Update, 10:24 a.m.: The Fort Lee Army base is reporting on Facebook that an all clear has been given.

Update, 10:11 a.m.: According to some commenters on the Fort Lee Facebook page, the base has given an all-clear.

An active shooter is reportedly at large at the Fort Lee Army base in Virginia, about 30 minutes outside of Richmond. At around 9:30 a.m. Monday morning, the base's verified Twitter account tweeted:

Active shooter incident reported at CASCOM HQ, Bldg. 5020. All personnel enact active shooter protocols immediately. Post on lockdown.

No other details were immediately available, according to AP.
