Obama on Russia and Malaysian Jet Attack: 'What Exactly Are They Trying to Hide?'
Ukrainian President Poroshenko has declared a demilitarized zone around the crash site. As I said before, you have international teams already in place prepared to conduct the investigation and recover the remains of those who have been lost. But, unfortunately, the Russian-backed separatists who control the area continue to block the investigation. They have repeatedly prevented international investigators from gaining full access to the wreckage. As investigators approached, they fired their weapons into the air. These separatists are removing evidence from the crash site, all of which begs the question -- what exactly are they trying to hide?
Moreover, these Russian-backed separatists are removing bodies from the crash site, oftentimes without the care that we would normally expect from a tragedy like this. And this is an insult to those who have lost loved ones. This is the kind of behavior that has no place in the community of nations.

Please don't misused the phrase, "begging the question." I hate that!
You're right, but blame Leslie Larson or the New York Daily News.
Using "begging the question" to mean "raises the question" is so ignorant that only stupid people use it that way.
^begging the question
"WHY WON'T THEY BE TRANSPARENT LIKE ME?"
"this kind of behavior that has no place in the community of nations," Obama says this in every speech and then walks away back to his golf game believing he has made a difference in the world. Obama people quit listening to you along time ago and Putin just laughs when you speak.
They're trying to hide the evidence that they're behind a really stupid blunder. Not like the US has every done anything like this! Oh, wait ... we shot down an Iranian passenger plane back in the 90s http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_Air_Flight_655
At least we owned up to it and paid a large settlement (reported as $131 million) to the Iranian government.
The plane was actually shot down in July 1988; the settlement didn't happen until 1996. So, if Russia is following our example, they'll apologize and provide money in 2022...
Of course, considering it was Western Europeans and not Iranians who were killed, it could be sooner... or never.
Obama is a naive pussy.
"Russian-backed separatists who control the area . . . "
Well? There you have it - they control the area NOT the International Community. Doesn't this administration have better things to get accomplished?
DEAL with the border and visa-duckers!
What he has never asked the IRS.
Actually, this is exactly what you get with a community of nations. Especially when 2 or 3 of them start seriously arguing about who gets to control where, then there's fighting, and the next thing you know, a bunch of civilians die when a SAM is launched at an airline, followed by a lame attempt at coverup.
But, hey: authoritah is not going to assert itself.
I must be having a very bad day. I agree with what he said.
If the Ukrainian government had any balls they could use this to end the uprising right now it would be very hard for Putin to justify intervening
