Anti-Government Protesters in Ukraine Agree to Truce as Talks Continue

Ukrainian anti-government protesters agreed Thursday to a truce of several hours in clashes with police, as opposition leaders met with President Viktor Yanukovych for a second round of talks.

Hundreds of protesters -- who have been clashing with police in the capital, Kiev, since Sunday -- told boxer-turned-politician Vitali Klitschko they would suspend further action until negotiations were over, his UDAR party said in a prepared statement.
