Paula Andrew and her family were walking along the promenade in Scarborough, England, when a police van pulled up and two officers demanded her name and address and began to question her about how warmly her nine-month-old daughter was dressed. They said that someone had called 999 to report the girl wasn't wearing a coat. Andrew noted that the girl did have on a vest and multiple layers of clothing and was quite warm.
