Connecticut: Final Report on Newtown Massacre Means Case is Closed
Investigation concluded
Authorities in Connecticut released a final report on Friday outlining the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., on Dec. 14, 2012, providing the most complete account to date for one of the nation's most wrenching massacres. It contained hundreds of photographs, hours of video and voluminous crime scene reports.
The state's Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection said that the release of the full report, which included many redactions, "is indicative that this State Police criminal investigation is concluded."
