UN Climate Conference Continues Work Toward Treaty
Squabbling over financing, definitions of developed/developing
Negotiators in Warsaw are working at the 11th hour to avoid the collapse of United Nations climate talks and to agree to a road map for an eventual international treaty to reduce emissions.
Ministers from nearly 200 nations met Friday and were expected to continue discussions well into the weekend, looking to bridge key differences over financing, and the distinction between developed and developing countries.
