Insurance Company Ribs Healthcare.gov in Ad, Suggests Visiting Its Site Instead
Market reaction
If HealthCare.gov were the product of a private-sector entity, it's likely that things would be playing out differently in the wake of its disastrous rollout. The figurative streets would be paved with figurative blood as heads rolled, legal action might be in the offing and competitors would definitely be jumping on the opportunity.
But it turns out that at least one company is taking advantage of the situation, if ever so gently.

Really? For a headline, two grammatical errors in one sentence?
How long before Obama outlaws advertising in the insurance field?
The thing that irritates me the most is that they already had people working for the government that not only have built this kind of stuff and run it in their sleep (uniformed, GS/GM civil servants at VA), but they're a hell of a lot cheaper. I doubt any of them would take more than fifteen minutes to write up the hardware requirements and would be on-site the next day to do the work. Hell, I've done this work! Greenfield! Argh!
Nice to see someone actually thinking about actually helping out on defusing the FUD. Put a smile on my face.
