Ohio Man on Death Row Wants Organs Donated
Scheduled to be executed Wednesday
A child killer scheduled for execution this week has asked that his organs be donated to his ailing mother and sister.
Death row inmate Ronald Phillips' lawyers say in a letter to the Ohio prisons agency that Phillips would also be willing to donate organs to other individuals.
The letter obtained Monday by The Associated Press says Philips wants as many people as possible to benefit from his death. His mother is on dialysis and his sister has a heart problem.
