Government not forthcoming about numbers

It's not the sign that the Obama administration wants people to see on its health overhaul website: down for repairs.

Using overnight hours this weekend to debug the system, the Health and Human Service Department hoped to fix the technological problems that overwhelmed the launch of new health insurance markets. Glitches have frustrated millions of consumers unable to complete their applications.

Credit card companies, banks and other online service providers regularly take down websites for repairs. That may also become a feature of the new insurance program.

Define regularly. My credit card companies, banks, and online services rarely are taken down. And, when they are, I typically get an email of service disruption.

I just now tried to log in and got the temporarily down due to heavy activity message. After a few minutes, it transferred me to the login page. I had created two logins (both with bogus information) a few days ago, and now neither of them work. Maybe they cleaned out these, but I doubt it. What's funny is that I tried the forgot password link, and it said that an email was sent to the email address associated with your account. Only problem is, I registered without specifying an email.

I just tried to create an account and ended up with this: "Important: Your account couldnt be created at this time. The system is unavailable."

Not only is the site not working, neither is their grammar.

On a side note, The Man now knows my niece's name, pet's name, and my favorite radio station.
