Kenyan Official: May Have Been as Few as Four Gunman at Nairobi Mall Attack
Original estimate 10 to 15
A top Kenya government official says four armed assailants can be seen on closed circuit television footage during the terrorist attack on an upscale mall in which at least 67 people were killed, an indication that there may not have been as many attackers as initially believed.
Kenya's government had initially said 10-15 attackers were at the Westgate Mall. Al-Qaeda-linked Somali militant group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the deadly attack there.
