40 State Attorneys General Write to FDA Pushing E-Cigarette Regulations
For the children, science be damned
Forty attorneys general sent a letter to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday urging the agency to meet its own deadline and regulate electronic cigarettes in the same way it regulates tobacco products.
The letter, co-sponsored by Massachusetts Attorney Martha Coakley and Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, says e-cigarettes are being marketed to children through cartoon-like advertising characters and by offering fruit and candy flavors, much like cigarettes were once marketed to hook new smokers.

Fuck everyone else.
I'd rather be hitting the e-cig than an actual cigarette. Oh yeah FYTW
WooooHoooo! Georgia's AG, Sam Olens, is a real dick but he didn't sign the letter. Maybe he was outside havin' a smoke.
As if adults don't like different flavors or good advertising. Sheesh.
I think we'll eventually find that e-cig danger is marginal at best. I'd also rather judge a product AFTER we've found the damning evidence, and until then, let people use their best judgement.
I agree with the previous poster: For. The. Children. *barf*
