Steven Greenhut on Why Moderate Reforms Won't Save California from Its Reckless Government

For years, California reformers — especially those of a moderate political stripe — have pushed for changes to the political system that would lead to a more responsive and less ideological Legislature. But as Steven Greenhut observes, moderate measures have yet to put a stop to the state's immoderate government. It will take something stronger to save California from the recklessness of its officials.
