Activists in California Town Want Statue of Gandhi Removed
Organization for Minorities of India says Gandhi was an abuser and a Nazi sympathizer
An activist group in Cerritos is stepping up efforts to convince city officials to remove a statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
Members of the Organization for Minorities of India (OFMI) first petitioned Mayor Bruce Barrows and the City Council in July to remove the statue located outside the Chugh Law Firm at the corner of Carmenita Road and Alondra Boulevard.
