I thought a Reason Cruise would be named “Minding Your Own Business and Keeping Others From Minding You Business.: Reason Seminar Cruise 2014.
That Virginia is one brave woman, being that she’ll be the only female stuck on the high seas on a ship full of hedonistic libertarian men.
A gay libertarian cruise would be something to behold. Thousands of muscled and oiled men wandering about in a pot-induced stupor, taking breaks from sex only to shoot machineguns off the bow of the ship. Alas, the orphan servant boys would never be the same.
I’m not gay buying would buy a ticket just to enjoy the excess. Also I would shoot the mounted weapons.
Also I would shoot the mounted weapons.
That could be interpreted in a number of ways in the context of a gay cruize.
Tee hee, you said “mounted.”
This is possibly the best idea I’ve ever heard for improving the public image of libertarianism.
Johan is so dreamy!
…and range up to deluxe cabins with incredible ocean views and private verandas
Well of course the verandas are private. Duh.
It’s a libertarian cruise. Everything is privatized, including the coin-operated lifeboats.
I was on a cruise a couple of years ago, and I talked to someone about those enclosed lifeboats. They’re designed to roll around and do other vomit-inducing moves. In an enclosed space. Now, I’m all for not drowning or being eaten by sharks, but that sounds rather unpleasant.
Look at that volume! Look at that hold!
this is just a plot to get us out of the states so we can be thoroughly searched and interrogated upon our return.
Close. There will be thorough probing of your body cavities, but that will mostly be on the cruise itself.
Only if you pay for the Happy Ending at Warty’s Massage Booth.
There is no happy ending at Warty’s Massage Booth.
I note by the way that the planned route conveniently circles Cuba, coming daringly close to Guantanamo Bay, with a stop at a “private beach” in Haiti. Leading to several Important Questions:
1. Is Nick leading the shore-raid to bring the wonders of trade to the Cuban tobacco farmers?
2. Will there be a group mooning of Guantanamo Bay?
3. Do we pick up the orphans right there at the private beach, or will they be on the boat after we leave?
“‘Tis the Season…”
Most norovirus outbreaks happen from November to April in the United States.
How many guests have attended the Reason cruise for the past couple of years?
wait, did I miss a fund raiser? I thought you raised money for a couple of weeks before announcing the cruises. If you have the cruise first, a couple of people who would normally donate might ask themselves, “How does providing a paid vacation for Reason staffers promote Liberty?” and change their minds.
I didn’t know Doogie Howser was a libertarian.
Well, I would think that Dr. Horrible would be – evil genius and all. So there’s that.
Someone told me that show was awesome, so I tried to watch it. Couldn’t hold my attention for fifteen minutes.
Wow. I don’t think I had ever come across someone that didn’t like it before.
My attention drifts when people randomly break out into song.
