Rush Limbaugh Signs Three Year Deal with Cumulus Radio
Not going anywhere
Rush Limbaugh has struck a new deal that will keep him for the next three years on all the Cumulus Media stations carrying him now except for WABC in New York, the radio star announced Friday on his show. In that market, his show will move to WOR, a station owned by Clear Channel, the parent of Premiere Networks, which syndicates Limbaugh's show.
Limbaugh took the opportunity to celebrate media speculation -- now proven wrong -- that Cumulus was dumping him and any new arrangement would result in him losing markets.

So when is my good buddy Rush, pain-pill addict, going to apologize to all of these druggies whose heads-on-a-platter he has called for?
Cite?
Rush has said next to nothing about drugs in his entire radio career. Even less in the years before his own drug use was revealed. Do you embrace and ape all the progtard talking points?
Here.
You left out NBC's uncited assertion:
He often made the case that drug crimes deserve punishment.
While the only quote they have for the radio host is an edited quote (note the elipsis ) from his "short-lived TV show" eleven years before his drug conviction.
This is NBC of "he looked like he was up to no good...he looks Black" (note the elipsis again) and the explosion-induced rollover SUV handling test fame.
One out of context statement from a TV show, 11 years before his drug conviction, in a well documented career of 5 day-a-week radio broadcasts over a (up to then) 17 year career is, as I said, "next to nothing".
As I actually watched that episode of Rush's short-lived TV show (and strongly disagreed with and was quite disappointed with the statement at the time) the context, as I recall, was primarily addressing the issue of charges of racial disparities with drugs as just an example. Out of 15 years of 15 hour-a-week radio broadcast transcripts the media found nothing to support THE HYPOCRISY!!1!. All I can recall was him mocking the occasional stoned caller (a talk radio staple).
They found nothing? That stretches the imagination. If I were on the radio three hours a day, I'm fairly sure they'd be able to find something I said to support almost any accusation.
And be hooked on something and being against it is not contradictory. I'm addicted to carbohydrates (yes, I know how that sounds) but that's a big reason I preach the Low Carb/High Fat diet. I don't want others to have to wait as long as I did to find out why they're getting fat while staying terribly hungry.
I listen to Limbaugh. All I can say is his opponents basically lie about what he says. Whenever I hear him something only to hear it a version of it reported on the news it's two completely things. It's rarely what he actually said it's taken waaayyyy out of context.
They do the same crap up here with Don Cherry the hockey announcer left-wingers can't stand.
Not saying I agree with the guy, just saying the shrills on the left playing "centrists" or "fact-checkers" is silly and hilarious.
All Rush does is read actual articles in the media and offers his OPINIONS. That's it. That's his shtick. And he's the best at it judging from the ratings.
One other thing, Obama is Rush's bitch. Man, Obama talking about Limbaugh is sad and only points to the fact he ain't much of a real leader.
