Rebels in Syria Capture Aleppo Air Base
Taken from government forces after Saudi suicide bomber blew up a vehicle outside the complex
A Syrian activist group says al-Qaida-linked rebels have won control of a key air base in the northern province of Aleppo that had been contested for months.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the Islamic State of Iraq and other opposition groups seized the Mannagh air base from Syrian government forces at dawn Tuesday.
