MARYSVILLE, Wash. - A local middle school student was suspended for the remainder of the school year after he pretended to shoot at other students in the hallway with his hands.
According to KOMO-TV, 14-year-old Hunter Lance, a student at Marysville Middle School, was given a 9-day suspension from the school for his actions.
The move may mean summer school for the student. His mother, Rondi Lance, understands the severity of the situation, but told the station that she finds the punishment to be more harsh than is necessary.
