Ronald Bailey on Michael Lind's Obtuse Attack on Libertarianism
Why are there no libertarian countries? Conservative welfare statist Michael Lind taunted in Salon this week that that's "the question libertarians just can't answer." Moreover, Lind forbids libertarians from lamely mixing and matching policies to create an imaginary utopia. For Lind, the fact that no fully libertarian society currently exists proves that it can never exist. Reason Science Correspondent Ronald Bailey argues that Lind is little more than an ahistorical boor.
