Maryland Cops Want Judge to Promote Them to Captain
Say racism the reason they've been passed over so far
Cobb Police Chief John Houser is the subject of a federal lawsuit that claims he promoted white officers over black ones, Channel 2 reported Monday evening.
Cobb police lieutenants James Brown and Craig Owens allege that Houser and his department repeatedly promoted white officers to the position of captain, instead of them, according to the Channel 2 report.
