Nick Gillespie on HuffPost Live at 6.21pm ET and 7.30pm ET
Join me on two panels on Huff Post Live tonight.
First up is Political Junkies with Alyona Minkovski, where I'll be talking about medical marijuana and its discontents.
Second up is a panel about sequestration that's moderated by James Poulos.
Check out both here. And maybe below.
Here's the comment thread on the above.
Here's the sequester segment:

Ooo, Gillespie has vaulted ceilings.
my classmate's sister-in-law makes $64/hr on the internet. She has been unemployed for 7 months but last month her check was $17878 just working on the internet for a few hours. Read more here... http://WWW.DAZ7.COM
Alyona is off RT?
Is no one going to talk about the money that's being made from unrelenting prohibition?
Shapiro with a shot at Obamacare from out of nowhere!
It's never a waste of taxpayer money to put taxpayers in their place.
Federal prosecutors are tone deaf to public empathy. Until it threatens their run for the governor's mansion.
It takes a heavily regulated village to raise a child.
Shapiro with a shot at gun control from out of nowhere!
I think that Nick's Vitruvian Man has the upper hand.
Glenn Beck has people spending a whole hour of their show dedicated to him? Hell, he has the upper hand.
Gillespie of course has the best answer on the Beck question.
So Fist is live commenting this thing?
Well it's over now, so past tense. You can do the 7:30 show.
Fist suffers for our sins.
It was kind of excruciating.
Wait, is that second HuffPo video seriously called 'Did Budget Cuts make America Third World?'
I'd love to see HuffPo point me to the Third World Nation with a $50,000 per capita GDP.
We're eighth in the world in per capita GDP, ahead of all of Europe, except for Switzerland, which is rich because it's a banking haven, and Norway, which is rich because it consists entirely of middle class white people. Clearly we're a third world nation.
You forgot Luxembourg!
Okay. So we have a larger per capita GDP than every European country with a population over five million. That seems to be the cutoff point.
Apparently socialism works okay...until you have five million people.
Socialism works okay when it has four hundred years of wealth accumulated from a capitalist developed economy to siphon from for a few generations.
Konczal is right now telling the HuffPo watching world that essentially we don't have a budget problem. I think Gillespie's head was just about to explode streamed live. This might be worth watching.
SEQUESTRATION MAKES BRYCE FEEL BAD!
Every weekday morning now NPR tells me about a different way in which sequester is draining our lifeblood.
WELL ISN'T IT?
An actual comment from a HuffPo Live viewer. So there's that.
Hasn't Gillspie written articles about his opinion that the multiplier is less than 1? Seriously, all they have to do is google 'Nick Gillespie, multiplier effect' and they'd realize they're wrong.
Found one!
Gillespie discusses the multiplier effect!
That was the third result for 'Nick Gillespie, multiplier effect.'
Jesus Christ these people think the federal government is a bottomless cup of tax dollars.
HuffPo commenters HATE smugness.
I love these people. "Hey, I'm RBS, libertarian." "Yeah? Well fuck you you smug asshole."
The multiplier can be whatever you want it to be. That's one of the convenient things about magic!
I like Sequestration Nick 'Shit Kicker' Gillespie. Well played sir! What I want to know is what happens to The Shit Kicker when Nick is gargling Jonah Goldberg's sweaty balls?
If they get married, do we all get an invite?
Course you couldn't buy an invite with a diamond the size of a testicle, but I got my hands on a couple.
Jebus. Have they ever had to use a toilet in a National Park? Among the most disgusting moments of my life. Why would anyone expect decent service at a park? Where is the incentive for the rangers to even supply toilet paper and scrub the toilets on a regular schedule? What am I going to do, talk to their managers and get them fired like I would at a fast food joint?
Fist of Etiquette is the fucking hero of the internet. Thank you, FoE, thank you.
Every one of us should force ourselves to watch at least one of these things. It's soul crushing. It was like chatroulette but with wall-to-wall dick shots, if you can imagine.
But chatroulette is wall-to-wall....
Oh jesus.
Sequestration was a miniscule and insignificant cut in the budget, completely hidden by continuous spending growth. Chart it out and it looks like a pothole on the road up the side of Everest.
Yes some people got affected by the cuts, but only because government officials decided to make the cuts where they would be most visible and painful. But the progtards bought into the smoke and mirrors.
"We can always keep paving more road because it's a shovel ready project"
This fucking guy...
These guys totally know whats going on wow.
