I felt it -- it was just enough to whet the appetite and wet a New Yorker's pants.
Many years ago, I worked at a company with a guy from the Bronx or Brooklyn -- I can't remember which now, but the accent was strong. There was a small earthquake, we all waited a few seconds while it rumbled to see if it would get stronger or not. This guy ran to a doorway and screamed at us nonstop in his accent until it was over, then spent the next hour in wonder that none of us dived under desks or ran for doors.
Always fun to watch a quake virgin for the very first time.
