Pittsburgh Firefighter Allegedly Fell Asleep, Failed to Respond to Fire in Time
Only one firefighter was supposed to be awake on the shift, he's the one being investigated
On Saturday morning in Carrick, a house caught on fire. The call went out at 6:18 a.m.
The KDKA Investigators have obtained the dispatch tapes from the call.

Hmmm. 4 firefighters asleep. Here's a crazy idea - how about a fire alarm, in the fire house? Is it possible they don't have an alarm when there is a fire they're supposed to go to?
Hush, how dare you critique our public sector employees or their methods. These are the pros, that's why we lavish them with much higher pay and benefits than their private sector equivalents.
