Ed Krayewski Starting Off Conversation About Mali on The Young Turks' "The Point"
Intervention can breed the cause for even more
On Wednesday, I participated in The Young Turks' online show "The Point," in an episode focused on the war on terror and the consequences of intervention. I was asked to submit a video to start off the first topic of this episode, the intervention in Mali and how it may have been a consequence of the intervention in Libya. Video below, my portion starts at about the 3 minute mark:

Ed,
Love ya, man, but there's no way I'm gonna wade through 58:10 of vid to find out what the point is.
Hah!
Ed,
Sorry, but I'm serious.
I can scan print pretty quickly and pick out what might be interesting. Watching a talking heads vid gives no clue at all. And, no, I do *NOT* spend an hour hoping to find something of interest.
I'm not alone; summary, pull-quotes, time-checks or watch the views stay at nothing.
I just enjoyed the turn of phrase on "the point." My "point" starts at the 3:00 mark like I mentioned in the post, with the discussion right after. That part runs about 10 minutes total.
I think Sevo's point is that he wants to be spoon fed so he more free time to bitch about it.
Yeah. Anybody already watch it? How bout an executive summary?
Ed? You Made it.
Young Turks huh? So wouldn't they support taking over Egypt and Libya and killing the Kardashians?
Heh. I always think this - do they know who the Young Turks even were? Not a great name.
Well there are a lot of folks wearing Guy Fawkes masks and I don't see too many of them calling for a Catholic monarchy.
So, uh, I looked him up, and he actually denies the Armenian Genocide. So you may unintentionally have been correct.
No, they just support running away from home.
Gladstone, eh? You were a Turk-baiter, weren't you?
And if the Young Turks tried to kill the Cardashians, they'd defend themselves with their phasers, duh.
how it may have been a consequence of the intervention in Libya
Let us back it up before the 2011 Qaddafi kill, before the Bushpigs invaded Iraq on fabricated data in 2003, back to 1953 and our overthrow of Mosaddeq to get some real historical accuracy on blowback.
How about blowback to Stalin and Churchill's overthrow of Reza Pavlavi? Or British support for Pavlavi in the first place?
And the Kahns went though that real-estate in (I think) the 6th century. Let's not forget that, Obozopig!
Yes PB, we all know that Booooosh went back in time to 7th century Arabia and drugged an unsuspecting Muhammed with LSD, thus inspiring his divine vision and creating Islam and altering the history of the Middle East into what it is today.
I'd watch that movie
Personally I always thought Mo wrote the Koran while having an episode of mania.
The data was wrong, it wasn't fabricated you disingenuous fuckstain.
There's plenty of shit one can criticize Bush on without having to make it up. God, you are a fucking disgusting piece of shit.
Bullshit. Dickless Cheney spent 10 months at Langley working the "data" up enough to support his war boner.
Senate testimony supports the fabrication. Saddam had UAV's with nukes just off the US coastline in 2003.
Fuck you assclown. Intel that Iraq had WMD existed in the early 90s, long, long before Bush II or 911 ever happened.
You can argue that it wasn't a good enough reason to go to war, but you can't fucking claim it fabricated.
But that won't stop a fucking psychopathic idiot with urine stained pants from yelling at the wall, will it shitbag?
You are wrong.
Saddam had some mustard gas type shit Reagan and Rumsfeld gave him that he used on the Kurds no doubt.
But the prospect of a "nuclear cloud" was cooked up by the Cheney gang. Poor Dumbya was just a cigar store Indian. Powell admitted his whole UN testimony was a lie.
Dumbya even had to back up on his "Niger uranium" lie.

"Saddam had some mustard gas type shit Reagan and Rumsfeld gave him that he used on the Kurds no doubt."
Lying sack of shit. Go fuck your dad and quit venting your 'issues' here.
Nuclear cloud? WTF are you even talking about? Do you even know?
Look shitbag, I was an AF pilot for 20 years. I know a thing or two about intel. The intel in question. Bush couldn't possibly have fabricated it, unless he did so 10 years before becoming president, on the off chance he someday becomes president, and terrorists attack the World Trade Center and he needs to invade Iraq.
God you are a fucking idiot.
Why am I acknowledging your pathetic existence?
Saddam Hussein has held numerous meetings with Iraqi nuclear scientists, a group he calls his "nuclear mujahedeen" -- his nuclear holy warriors.
Satellite photographs reveal that Iraq is rebuilding facilities at sites that have been part of its nuclear program in the past.
Iraq has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes and other equipment needed for gas centrifuges, which are used to enrich uranium for nuclear weapons.
If the Iraqi regime is able to produce, buy, or steal an amount of highly-enriched uranium a little larger than a single softball, it could have a nuclear weapon in less than a year.
(Bush Speech)
You stupid GOP cocksucker.

"(Bush Speech)"
You stupid team blue cocksucker. Go fuck your dad; we're tired of reading about your issues, asshole.
Go back to Free Republic, you Bush cocksucker Team Red asswipe.
Palin's Buttplug| 2.2.13 @ 9:45PM |#
"Go back to Free Republic, you Bush cocksucker Team Red asswipe."
Aww. Poor shreek never had his dad tell him he was a "guy".
Go fuck your dad, shitstain.
And how does any of that prove the intel was fabricated?
For that matter, with the exception of the last bullet, how do you know that intel is even wrong?
You are a fucking moron!
I'd like to note right here that significant stocks of WMD were actually found in Iraq. Old stuff, mustard gas I think, that the inspectors never found and survived the previous bombings.
There is no doubt that WMDs existed in Iraq and the chem WMDs were used by Iraq.
Re: Nukes, AFAIK, there are questions.
If anyone has solid intel on it, it is NOT our resident shitstain/Obozo apologist.
Fuck all y'all. We invaded Iraq because of the "Oil for Food" program. Saddam was selling, or going to sell, his oil for Euros, and there's no way we were gonna let those Nazi bastards and socialist frog fags undermine the Petrodollar status of the USD.
winner winner poultry meal.

Same reason we toppled Gadaffy.
Dear B.P.,
I think it's hilarious how you successfully dangle those lures in front of us day after day, week after week. We know what you're up to, you're not fooling anybody, and yet we rise to the bait every time! Have you ever considered producing your own reality show? You could call it Funniest Catch: Hit & Run. I'd watch every episode, just to see Sevo and the other dunces flip and jerk in the nets every Saturday night at 9 PM, 8 PM Central, on Discovery Channel.
Shorter retard: lets not criticise Obama.
Longer retard:

"Bullshit. Dickless Cheney spent 10 months at Langley working..."
Yeah, dipshit, and your bomer Obozq spent an entire campaign promising he'd eand war and stuff.
Your "issues" are tedious; go fuck your dad.
Sounds like a pretty solid plan to me dude. Wow.

OT:
Wife channel-surfs. She wondered onto "Income Property" on some channel or other.
The host actually applauds being a landlord and making money! Can we hope?
A lot of shows on the Home and Gardening Television channel (HGTV) are about first-time property buyers or people who renovate and flip houses.
People making money on real estate? And no carping about 'cheating the poor'?
Great!
Some people think those shows played a big role in the housing bubble, since rich people kept buying more and more housing to "flip", while people who just want a house to live in kept getting priced out of the market
JeremyR| 2.2.13 @ 9:03PM |#
"Some people think those shows played a big role in the housing bubble,..."
"Some people" are idiots.
You're a stupid tampon.
Of course markets play a role in creating bubbles. Look at the NASDAQ in 1999-2000.
Just shut up and suck some GOP cock and don't try to reason with others.
Palin's Buttplug| 2.2.13 @ 9:47PM |#
"You're a stupid tampon."
Shitstain, if you had any idea what that meant, I might be concerned.
Go fuck your dad, asshole.
If by 'markets' you mean 'government intervention into markets' you stupid cunt.
I just watched the Superbowol on Netflix. It was a blow out from the opening kick. Not even worth watching.
Jeeze, if I had that sort of intel, I'd have my Nubian virgins posting on the site instead of me pushing keys!
But, just 'cause:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBaHPND2QJg
It ain't Italian, and it's only sorta a flash mob, but I defy anyone to avoid 'conducting' in the last minute or two.
Someone sent me this a week or so ago.
AWESOME!
If you can watch it and not smile, you aren't human.
It's not bad, for a flash mob.
Magnificent, thanks.
My favorite is the Fifth but the "Glorious Ninth" is always worth listening to.
... Hobbit
I prefer the Seventh myself.
Now if the Ninth were "An die Schadenfreude", that would be different.
Then again, I really prefer Bach.
There couldn't be a flashmob of Bach. 30 Glenn Gould's?

"There couldn't be a flashmob of Bach. 30 Glenn Gould's?"
Pretty picky AP. I'm a fan of the Brandenburg Concertos, but I also happen to like:

And when this was popular, I had a 12-second 750cc chopper and a transistor with some earphones.
Yes, I enjoyed it.
I could swear that in the last classical music thread we had a few days ago, I linked to this.
Damn, but that was fucking beautiful.
Blowback, shmoeback. Kill 'em all. Let God and Allah sort it out.
Ed Krayewski is an imbecile and is precisely the kind of immoral dummy who guarantees the irrelevance of libertarian politics.
Should be interesting to see how that all works out. Wow.
