During a discussion of new revelations about data sharing between government agencies on Fox Business yesterday, host Neil Cavuto agrees that Managing Editor Katherine Mangu-Ward is a shady character. He's probably right.

don't forget to have separate rankings for Nick and the Jacket.
In some circles he's known as 'Nick the Jacket.'
In other circles it's 'Jack the Nicket.'
In what circles?
Nick and The Jacket are separable entities. Something unto themselves, but useless without each other. Sort of like a Marine and his rifle.
Not at all like that. the marine's. firle is just finde in my hands, aber, die Nicksjacke ist nur ein unn?tzes Zeug without der Nick.
Damn, all that cause I misspelled "find",
Boys and gurls, never drink and post.
Fine. misspelled "fine."
No, Nick brought The Jacket back with him from the Secret Wars. Except for a brief period, they have always been separate entities.
Staff hell, what about the commentariat? Talk about a sinister, shady bunch....
Don't worry I think all of us are on a list somewhere.
Some of us are listed on a lawsuit from a couple years back, by He Who Cannot Be Named. Does that count?
?

The word 'complaint' links to a filing where commentors are named by handle.
I hope he soaks "Blogger 'Latter Day Taint'" for all he's worth.
The whole ordeal was probably worth it for whoever got to hear that read aloud in the courtroom.
Now that's funny!
Oh She's just bragging about being shady because she knows how much we love that quality in a woman.
Next thing you know, she'll be telling us how she spends her weekends gobbling hyrocodone and shooting automatic weapons at her beer ranch.
If that's true I will propose to her for real.
That's just what I needed after a day being being called a facilitator of murderers by those who support Obama and His Drones with their loud and obnoxious voices and their votes.
Thanks.
"gobbling hydrocodone"
Hope she's also gobbling Miralax.
At the very least. I suggest prunes. If she's eating them by the fistful, then mag citrate or Go-Lytely may have to be employed or she'll be sitting on the loo like Elvis, not to mention addressing the liver damage.
Ah, mag citrate. Those wonderful memories of having to drink 3 bottles, then shitting over and over and over the day before a colonoscopy.
Three??!!! I had to choke down one bottle for an IVP, and barely managed that.
Three??!!! I had to choke down one bottle for an IVP, and barely managed that.
Reason why, Fatty, is if the colonic prep is not thorough, I can't see polyps or the quality of the colonic wall if they are hidden by shit in the haustra. Not to mention if the colonoscope gets covered with crap, it's pretty difficult to irrigate all that poop away so my field of vision is unobstructed and I don't have to waste the patient's time and money and reschedule (not to mention not subjecting them to another round of colon prep, as well as me getting really pissed off).
Not quite as much of a concern with an IVP, and the total evacuation of the colon is not quite as paramount since contrast medium is employed for the KUB, and Code Browns really suck anyway.
Well, Katherine, it's really unfortunate more people aren't shady like you.
Mangu's horde of 19 year old pretty boys that follow her around is pretty dubious.
I think when she claimed during the primaries that Ron Paul would get to the White House over her dead body is when the red flags went up.
Katherine Mangu-Ward is a shady foxy character
OT: God, I didn't realize how old Charlotte Rampling is till I just saw her in a commercial for a new movie she's in.
She's....Ooooooooooold.
Still fucking hot though.
She appears to have chosen to age gracefully and it has paid off.
The results of the Arab Spring will not be known for some time.
Uhh, the results are known now. By looking at the results. Whether those results continue to change-- for the better or for the worse-- only time will tell. But yeah, Springtime for Arabs got Egype a Islamist power-grabbing tyrant, and got us a dead ambassador in Libya. Hooray for Twitter!
Gah, wrong thread.
Unless you can somehow tie Katherine's shadiness to Islamist power grabs.
That's the governments job.
Somebody clicks "open in new tab" on Reason blog posts.
Yes.
Only a statist would try and centralize all of their Reason experience in just 1 tab.
Statist.
Compared to Kerry Howley, Mangu Ward is a boy scout.
as in, such as
I would think the most damning thing is that she sees it fit to sleep with Will Wilkinson.
Is that more or less damning than sleeping with Wil Wheaton?
I lost all respect for Ashley Judd after that episode.
There are some games I don't know how to play yet.
I think I'm in love. I don't even know who Kerry Howley is, yet I am smitten.
Don't be. She'll chew you up and spit you out like a Rangoon chewer-spitter.
I'm ok with an unrequited love.
I always knew you were racist.
Compared to Kerry Howley, Mangu Ward is a boy scout.
Is pederasty a Pennsylvania thing?
Sandusky, Tulpa
KMW joins the Bob Dole Brigade of people who refer to themselves in 3rd person?
Bob Dole likes this!
Raven Nation is embarrassed at the predictability of the preceding comment.
Ted S. is pissed that two other people beat him to the punch line.
Groovus Maximus suggests Theodore probably shouldn't drink so much over such inconsequential things.
If the brigade includes Bob Dole, Katherine Mangu-Ward and Rickey Henderson, then count Voros McCracken as 'in.'
Katherine Mangu-Ward doesn't do what Katherine Mangu-Ward does for Katherine Mangu-Ward; Katherine Mangu-Ward does what Katherine Mangu-Ward does because Katherine Mangu-Ward is Katherine Mangu-Ward.
That looks like dialog from The Matrix.
South Park / honey boo boo
I don't need an invasive government surveillance program to know that KMW is guilty... of being adorable!
(Cue canned audience 'awww'.)
I think Neil Cavuto was thinking the same thing most of you are. Notice the obvious sexual tension when he says "Yes, you ARE a shady character" and the way he says "thank you" at the end.
Yeah, the 'I could have told them that' part followed by his slight smile...Cavuto, you sly dog.
Never trust a woman with a hyphenated name. That's another "Rule of Thumb."
Misogynist.
Truth. My last name is less than 1/4" thick.
Never trust a woman with a hyphenated name AND a bad liquor habit
Haha! j/k
KM-W is femina perfecta
Uh....looks like good liquor to me.
Thought this was kinda funny.
TV Walmart guy: "That's $50 in savings"
TV Walmart lady customer: "Wow! That's a pair of shoes!"
ME: Lolwut
You're lucky to get 2 months out of a pair of Walmart shoes.
Their quality on most of their store brand items is terrible. Clothing rips, shoes just disintegrate.
Sure, they are cheap, but in the long run you end up buying more, because they don't last.
That's how they get you. They're made affordable for lots of people to buy at any given time, more affordable than brand name shoes, especially when money is tight (as it tends to be for poor people), but as a compromise for short term affordability, you get short term durability as well, and have to ultimately spend about as much on shoes in the long run (say anything over 2 years) as you would have if you had bought higher quality, albeit less instantly affordable shoes.
Also known as the Sam Vimes 'Boots' theory of socioeconomic unfairness.
I've found their other clothes to last a decent amount of time. Also, in Obamanomics America, a $10 pair of pants is nothing to sneeze at.
OT: Vodka. Is there nothing it cannot do?
It also gives me dreams Olga from the Volga
Funny you mention that name. I have had very interesting (read: gaffe-tastically hilarious) experiences with wimminz having the first name Ol'ga, without exception. It's like the name is cursed or somthing.
It's not the sexiest name, but a GIS of Olga proves us both wrong 🙂
Horse puckey! It's a very sexy name when pronounced properly. Of course, the variability of said sexiness is directly proportional to the appeal of the Ol'ga. -))))
THIS IS WHY THERE ARE NO FEMALE LIBERATARIANS!!11!
No, you wouldnt. Your approach needs a bit of polishing.
Here is me being introduced to her;
Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you.....wow.
From your photographs it was clear that you are an attractive woman....but....in person you are....uh...stunning.
And I would be telling the truth. See how that works?
Always a pleasure to see a pro in action...
^Still needs more SWAG.^
You were going to say the word, weren't you.
I figured ^ was a lesbian.
What? City-statist?
City-statism is rampantly sexist. That's why women like KMW are not free to gambol across the plains, like their free female ancestors were. Before the city-statist patriarchy came along with it's agriculture and usurped women's rightful place, women were on more than equal footing in a hunter-gatherer society.
In a hunter-gatherer society, gathering was done by females and hunting done by males. Since hunting was not sufficient for sustenance, female gathering of nature's bounty was key to the abundant and free lifestyle they had. Thus, women were in a position of power, which helped make hunter-gatherer societies the paradises on earth they were. It was only when men came across the idea of agriculture in a successful attempt to dominate did the power shift to men, resulting in the modern city-state patriarchy and it's resulting wars and thieving concept of "property" and "ownership", thereby cementing male control over women and society as a whole.
When will women be again free to gambol across the plains, free of the patriarchal city-state?
The preceding parody would be better if the grammar and logical sequencing were degraded somewhat. Please adjust and post corrected version.

Darius, you suck for even going there.
Sorry, I forget the format he used, just the sort of rhetoric. The conflict-feminist perspective was my own personal touch, though.
Plus, you needed to then have the entire thread leading up to that post reprinted below it, over and over and over, like two mirrors set against each other.
The character limit does have its advantages.
To defeat them, I must first understand them. Or at least, it makes it a lot easier.
The character limit does have its advantages.
The erstwhile Albino Aboriginal was the reason for the (sometimes annoying) character limit.
