Google Maps Rockets To Top of iTunes "Free App" Charts
Within hours of release
With an average rating of four-and-a-half stars out of five from more than 3,000 reviews, the Google app was well received by users keen to download the mapping software.
The app claimed the number one spot on the iTunes free app chart just hours after launching yesterday, and remains there this morning.
