Cameron Apologizes to Hillsborough Families
Says, "On behalf of the government, and indeed of our country, I am profoundly sorry that this double injustice has been left uncorrected for so long."
Some MPs wept and others were barely able to control their emotions as Mr Cameron said: "On behalf of the government, and indeed of our country, I am profoundly sorry that this double injustice has been left uncorrected for so long."
The Prime Minister disclosed that the independent report into the 1989 disaster was "black and white" about the fact that "The Liverpool fans 'were not the cause of the disaster'."
