Dunkin' Donuts Gets an App
Purchase food, gift cards through your mobile phone. Michelle Obama does not approve.
Getting and gifting Dunkin' Donuts just got a little more technologically advanced.
Dunkin' Donuts on Thursday released its first-ever mobile app for iPhone, iPod touch, and Android smartphones that lets users conveniently pay for their coffee and frosted delights with their mobile device. With the app, you can purchase a digital Dunkin' Donuts card, or load up an existing one. When you're ready to pay, simply open the app and show it to the person behind the counter to scan and complete the transaction.
