New York Times columnist David Brooks thinks America "has a followership problem" because "vast majorities of Americans don't trust their institutions." But is anti-authoritarianism actually a problem in America today? Sheldon Richman looks around and sees very little real rejection of political authority. The real problem, Richman writes, is that Americans still need to learn the art of living free.
