Oh, yeah? Just try to find fresh dog meat around here. Food desert!
Wag the Dog has a whole new meaning to me.
Charlie: Oh, oh, oh! What about, uh, monkey? Monkeys are, like, nature's humans.
Dee: I doubt they have monkey, Charlie.
Charlie: People eat monkey, Dee. They ate it in Temple of Doom. You ever see that?
Chinese Butcher: Hey. We got monkey.
You've been eating raccoon meat!
"Cannibalism? Racism, Dee? That's--that's not for us. You know, those are the decisions that are best left to the suits in Washington, OK? We're just here to eat some dude."
Uh, I'd spend a lot less time asking questions and more time running.
Advice Dog
Just eat the dog like Obama did...
#ObamaDogRecipes: Yorkshire terrier pudding, mutt chop, Pekingese duck, bichon frisee salad, beagle with cream cheese, pure bread.
"So, Mr. President, where shall we go to eat?" "I know a great Spot."
If you want a friend in Washington, don't eat him (credit to Jim Geraghty).
Happiness is a warm puppy, with a side of fries.
Obama's favorite fast-food joint? Checkers (Patrick Daly).
I wouldn't vote for that guy for dogcatcher.
Did you hear about the insomniac polyphagiac president? He lies awake at night wondering if there is a dog.
That's a cheap shot. The pieces were written by different people.
Reason has published articles both questioning global warming's existence and outlining ways to cope with it.
"Food deserts" is as fucking inane as "hope and change".
For similar reasons.
First of all, where's Cavanaugh to nick the article on the (mis)use of "healthy food"?
Second, the article was in the "opinionator" section.
Is the opinionator something you drop a quarter in, and out pops a piece of paper with an editorial on it?
The Opinionator is like a Pez Dispenser.
I beg to differ. A Pez Dispenser gives me something which is useful that I want.
The Opinionator is an invention of Heinz Doofenshmirtz.
